Delete your Voiova account

You can permanently delete your Voiova account and all associated data at any time.

Option 1 — In the app (recommended)

1. Open Voiova and go to Profile → Settings.
2. Scroll to Delete Account and confirm.

Option 2 — By email

If you no longer have the app installed, email support.voiova@gmail.com from your account's email address with the subject "Delete my account". We verify the request and delete within 5 business days.

What gets deleted

Deletion is permanent and removes: your profile (email, name, avatar), your posts, comments, journal entries, trip itineraries and expenses, and all uploaded media (avatar, post images, trip photos). This cannot be undone.

Deleting some data without deleting the account

You do not have to delete the whole account to remove something. Inside the app you can delete an individual trip, a post, a comment, a journal entry or a photo, and it is removed from our servers with it. Your account and everything else stay as they are.

What is kept, and for how long

Nothing is kept in the live service. Encrypted database backups are rotated on a 14-day cycle, so a copy of your data can survive in a backup for up to 14 days after deletion, after which it is overwritten and gone. Backups are never used to restore an individual account and are not accessible from the app.
